Step 1. A password will be needed in order to send files. If you do not have a password please send an e-mail to advertise@flintjournal.com or click on Contact Us, above to get one.
Step 2. If you need help with preparing electronic files, please click here for information about the requirements and getting Adobe® Acrobat® Reader® installed on your computer.
Step 3. To use a browser to send in files, you need Netscape Navigator 3.02 or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. If you are using Microsoft Windows, click the browsers help menu, and select About to display the browser's version number. On Macintosh platforms clicking on the apple menu, with the browser open, and selecting About will display your browser's version number. If you need to download a new browser, click on one of the links below to select a new browser to download. Otherwise, go on to Step 4.
Step 4. If your files are in PDF format, you can start uploading (sending) your files (Step 5). Otherwise, you will need a compression utility that can create zip files for PCs, or StuffIt files for Macs. To create zip files, PKzip and WinZip can be used, or any utility that can create zip archives. Stuffit Deluxe creates StuffIt files (and many other compression formats, including zip) on the Mac. StuffIt (without the Deluxe in the name) is the Windows version of StuffIt Deluxe. If you dont have a compression utility, click on one of the links below to download one.

Now that you have a compression utility, create a directory on your computer hard drive. The directory should have a descriptive name such as your company name and todays date.
For example - my_company05aug99
Place all the files you are uploading into the directory you just created, then use your compression utility to compress the directory.
Note: Zip files should end in a .zip extension, and StuffIt files should end in a .sit extension.
Step 5. Now you are ready to upload your files. Click here to go to our Upload Form page.
